We produce media content that explores social dynamics and perspectives on a variety of topics. We're in search for a seasoned Camera Operators to join our team.

The Job
The Camera Operator will play a crucial role in capturing footage for our content. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and adaptability to ensure high-quality footage across diverse production environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate cameras and other filming equipment to capture high-quality footage for our content across multiple platforms.

  • Collaborate closely with Production teams to understand project requirements and translate creative concepts into compelling visual narratives.

  • Set up and maintain equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear, to ensure optimal performance and safety on set.

  • Capture a variety of shots, including wide angles, close-ups, and action sequences, while maintaining focus, framing, and composition.

  • Adapt to different filming environments and conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in videography to continuously improve skills and techniques.

  • Ensure consistency in visual style across all of our content.

  • Collaborate with post-production teams to provide input and feedback on footage during the editing process.

 

Who You Are

  • You have 3+ years of experience as a videographer or camera operator, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

  • Proficiency in operating DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and professional video equipment along with knowledge of camera settings and techniques.

  • A keen eye for visual composition, lighting, and framing.

  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with filming equipment, accessories, and industry-standard software.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team and take direction from creative producers.

  • A proactive problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and adapt to changing production requirements quickly.
